Introduction[edit source]

Pikarn, aka Wolverine, is a surly, older warrior probably in his early fifties, maybe late 40s. He is the childhood friend of the ruling Choerkin brothers, Lovar and Kotin. From this childhood relationship, he rose to head the Estertok Wardens. The Wardens are tasked with protecting people in Choerkin lands who live or work in the Estertok Mountains, which puts them at odds with the bear-like Colok culture who they see as monsters.

Somehwere in his past, Pikarn earned the nickname Wolverine, which started as a point of pride, but at some point he grew tired of the name, and now only people who don't know him well call him that to his face.

Personality[edit source]

Surly with an edged sense of humor, he enjoys poking fun at people's foibles and giving other people nicknames even if he doesn't want people using his. He has a beef jerky habit, often eating when he's trying to think. He is wise to the world, mountain smart instead of street smart, but not at all bookish. He prefers ax and shield to sword and shield.

Physical Description[edit source]

He isn't Choerkin tall, even considered short by Choerkin standards, so we'll guess he's around 5'8". He's barrel chested and powerfully built. At his age, he has a bit of a gut beneath his armor, but even as a young man, Ivin wouldn't want to tussle with him (Eve of Snows, Chapter 8:Frozen Repose).
