Identifying a cliff fissure as the map’s “tree,” she, Sandorelê, Âvorê, and crew find a cave at low tide containing over a hundred amphorae, expecting gold but discovering donu-honêsh, a dangerous drug. Realizing its value but lethal risks, they debate burning or sinking it. Poleen, rejecting Nicôdî tû Dêidontâ as a buyer, proposes contacting Shemêu in Nodoru, who sought the *Nomustên*’s manifest, to leverage the donu and scroll for advantage. They load three amphorae onto the *Soaring Falcon* for proof, planning to negotiate with Shemêu to fund Poleen’s quest for Nicôdî’s Written Jewels and Notoholis access. Wary of Captain Soderun tû Galortêu and smugglers like Mokonu Mo’Bûhîm, Poleen heads to Nodoru, balancing her vengeance against Nedrich nâ Hilêômbrâ and Berjer Fendênus with her father’s yostul ambitions.
