Infiltrating Infoduhû’s stone building, Poleen discovers a hidden tunnel, pursues Infoduhû, and finds him wounded but alive. Encountering Jôjô, who stole the Mulshahar Writ, Poleen is incapacitated by Jôjô’s ice magic but kills her, reclaiming the writ. Bloodied and weakened, Poleen escapes with Âvorê and Nosohûm’s aid, having secured the writ but not Infoduhû, as her guards retrieve him. The raid disrupts the donu trade, enhancing the value of her cached donu-honêsh, strengthening her leverage for Nicôdî tû Dêidontâ’s Written Jewels and Notoholis access. Poleen’s actions, potentially implicating the Boboru, Compunêu Trade Consortium, or Notoholis Aprelêu, advance her vengeance against Nedrich nâ Hilêômbrâ and Berjer Fendênus while aligning with her father’s yostul ambitions, despite her injuries and the raid’s risks.
