Chapter Four: Tower of a Man[edit | edit source]

Eliles rushes to Choerkin Keep after her vision, finding Ivin napping peacefully, a stark contrast to his earlier outburst. Awakening, he questions her presence; she admits concern but evades the spying truth. Ieru unexpectedly appears, having followed from Skywatch, prompting introductions and revelations about her lineage to High Oracle Meris. Tensions ease as they bond over shared losses and secrets, discussing distant allies like Solineus, Rinold, and the Wolverine via stellar visions. Ivin requests ongoing surveillance to verify the stars' accuracy, hinting at hidden troubles. The trio—dubbed evil queen, king of nothing, and princess of stars—heads to the Salty Frog inn for a meal, with Eliles grappling with resurfacing feelings for the married Ivin.
