Introduction

Dariun is a senior Master of Fire in Istinjoln Monastery, and Eliles's mentor. He is a gentle soul who goes about his way trying not to rock the boat, but this doesn't mean he won't bend the rules when he sees fit.

History

Dareun's first destiny was to train in the way of breaking bones and prophecy, but at a young age he showed a growing aptitude with Elemental Fire. Strings were pulled, and his destiny changed, leading him to a future in manipulating Fire.

Personality

He is a kind man but stern as needs be. He has a soft spot in his heart for Eliles, a young girl brought to him by a friend—Ilpen—who needed him to escape Inquisitors and survive in the halls of Istinjoln.

Physical Description

He is tall, thin, and seventy years old, with a wrinkled face and ears sagging from his age.
