CMU Chapter 32

Chapter Thirty-Two: Fateful Zephyr

In Mostul Ûbar, Poleen Juvukis, as Kontzulê Polênu Juvilêus, navigates the city’s complex politics and legal mazes, preparing to sail north for vengeance against Nedrich nâ Hilêômbrâ and Berjer Fendênus. Sandorelê’s return with *The Undaunted* accelerates plans due to a looming Boborun blockade of Lultûhol, linked to Nozodrôk Belên’s piracy and Lultûhol’s yostul succession crisis. Kontzûl Emerotô orders Poleen north to Simêum, where Isidorus awaits with the *Soaring Falcon*, to beat the blockade. Sandorelê reveals rumors of a Boborun treasure ship, possibly the *Errant Kiss* or *Failing Flame*, sunk off the Horsemen’s Coast, with its gold tied to the *Nomustên*’s manifest, sought by Captain Soderun tû Galortêu and Shemêu in Simêum. Poleen, suspecting the cigar box’s secret connects to this treasure, plans to pursue the manifest, hoping its value will secure Nicôdî tû Dêidontâ’s Written Jewels and Notoholis access. Bidding farewell to Nobûn and Teverish, she embraces the risky treasure hunt, balancing her father’s yostul ambitions with her deadly quest.
