= Chapter Twenty-Six: A Scar Lost = Meliu delivers the locked Codex of Sol to Woxlin at Istinjoln with pride and regret, unable to peek inside despite her lock-picking skills from childhood. Woxlin hands it to a priestess for Ulrikt and sends Meliu to healers, but she follows the Codex’s path through a trapdoor, seeking the Hall of Erginle. Alone, she reflects on her father Trime’s disdain for pity, dreading it over her scalp scar. Ulrikt finds her, healing her wounds with Erginle’s prayer, erasing scars and infection with a flirtatious charm, vowing to contain the Shadows from the Crack using the Codex. Grateful, Meliu prays to Erginle and Tulule as Ulrikt promises future talks, but days later, he dies unexpectedly. She prays again, thanking his soul for her restoration, left with unanswered questions about the Shadows and Codex. * [[EoS Chapter 25]] — Holy Mole * [[EoS Chapter 27]] — Nearing the Son [[Category:Meliu]] [[Category:Woxlin]] [[Category:Ulrikt]] [[Category:Trime Mention]] [[Category:Tulule Mention]] [[Category:Istinjoln]] [[Category:EoS Chapters]]
