= Chapter Forty-One: Impassable Waters = Solineus and the Silone Armada navigate the perilous Monsoon Strait, dodging islands and shallows to avoid the Boboru, only to find the MĂ»ulbon Delta occupied by forty HistĂȘ ships swarming ancient ruins. With no way upriver, Solineus opts to sail for Nudoru Bay in the Gulf of Tomulok, hoping to find GorĂŽ allies to bypass the Boboru blockade. Arriving at the grim, weathered port of Nodoru, they meet BenelĂȘ, a GorĂŽ translator promising to connect them with Captain GalortĂȘu, reputedly from the free city of IzdelĂȘ OltumĂȘnu. In the chaotic Hissing Mink tavern, Solineus locks eyes with PolĂȘnu JuvilĂȘus, the enigmatic Contessa of Mostul Ăbar, feeling an inexplicable connection as they inexplicably speak Edan. Their moment is cut short when PolĂȘnu assassinates GalortĂȘu, claiming heâd betray them to the Boboru, before being escorted away by GorĂŽ sailors to her ship, the Silver Willow. Dismissing BenelĂȘâs protests and threats, Solineus, urged by an instinctive trust in PolĂȘnu despite Adinvanâs skepticism, resolves to meet her, sensing she holds the key to their passage through the war-torn gulf, even as the tavernâs hostile stares signal growing danger. * [[WoG Chapter 40]] â Wide Skies and Tight Spaces * [[WoG Chapter 42]] â Dents and Holes * [[Whispers of Ghosts]] â Main Chapter Listing [[Category:Solineus]] [[Category:Adinvan]] [[Category:SĂźu]] [[Category:EdmordĂŽ]] [[Category:BenelĂȘ]] [[Category:Poleen]] [[Category:GalortĂȘu]] [[Category:TelelĂȘ JĂźu Mention]] [[Category:MĂ»ulbon Delta]] [[Category:Nudoru Bay]] [[Category:Monsoon Strait]] [[Category:Gulf of Tomulok]] [[Category:Strait of Boboru Mention]] [[Category:ĂlfindarĂą Islands Mention]] [[Category:Mostul Ăbar Mention]] [[Category:EmulĂȘn Isles Mention]] [[Category:IzdelĂȘ KĂŽlechĂą Mention]] [[Category:MĂąbuhon River Mention]] [[Category:Silver Willow Mention]] [[Category:Fefemor Mention]] [[Category:WoG Chapters]]
