= Chapter Six: Returning to the World = Glimdrem awakens from a three-week coma after surviving the catastrophic ritual in the Vale of Resting Winds, his body riddled with Ikoruv slivers but healed by Trelelunin care. Haunted by a dream of Edan abandoning the world and Lelishen’s affection, he’s visited by Inslok Harveredan, the Volvrolan’s legendary first sword, who questions him about the Archangel disaster where Uvin died and the others vanished. Glimdrem learns a weapon, the Motu Ensa bow, mysteriously reappeared on the ritual table, and is stunned by news that an Edan, claiming to be Limereu Lesedreden, emerged from the Father’s Cave on Mevelensa Island—a passage thought to be one-way—coinciding with the Vale event. Traveling to Mevelensa, Glimdrem and Inslok meet the amnesiac Edan, whose identity is tested until she recognizes Motu Ensa, her historic bow. The arrival of Lord Chancellor Fesele, revealed as Limereu’s sister, confirms her identity with an emotional reunion, shattering Edan stoicism with tears. Glimdrem grapples with witnessing multiple impossibilities—the return from the Father Wood, the bow’s reappearance, and Edan emotion—hinting at profound, yet unclear, consequences for the future. * [[ToP Chapter 05]] — Profiteer * [[ToP Chapter 07]] — Peaceless Gods * [[Trail of Pyres]] - Main Chapter Listing [[Category:Glimdrem]] [[Category:Lelishen]] [[Category:Uvin]] [[Category:Inslok]] [[Category:Limereu]] [[Category:Fesele]] [[Category:Sarlean]] [[Category:Cave of the Father]] [[Category:ToP Chapters]]
